Color & Texture Boards
I’ve always loved playing with colors, textures, and the little details that make a home feel warm, cozy, and inviting. There's something so satisfying about finding just the right combination of paint colors, fabrics, wood tones, and natural materials that work beautifully together. While I have a special love for rustic, primitive, and country styles, I also enjoy exploring different color combinations and decorating ideas. I love creating mood boards that bring all these elements together, whether it's the warmth of aged wood and worn linens, the softness of muted country colors, or the richness of deeper, earthy shades. My hope is that these color and texture boards will inspire you to experiment, discover new combinations, and create spaces that reflect your own personal style. After all, decorating should be about surrounding yourself with colors and things you truly love.

Use them as a starting point for your next decorating project, room makeover, or simply to discover a color combination you love. Stone & Thistle | A Softly Weathered Farmhouse Color Palette
This is one of my favorite color and texture boards, and it's especially close to my heart because I've incorporated some of these beautiful shades into my own kitchen. I've always loved the combination of dusty blues, charcoal grays, warm natural wood, and soft, creamy neutrals. There's something so timeless and comforting about these colors together. The weathered wood, aged pewter, natural linen, and delicate country florals add layers of texture that give a room warmth and character without feeling overly decorated. I especially love how the deeper blue-gray cabinetry contrasts with the lighter walls and rustic wood tones. To me, this palette captures everything I love about country farmhouse style—simple, cozy, a little rustic, and full of old-fashioned charm. It's a look that feels collected over time rather than brand new, and that's exactly what makes it so inviting.
Rustic & Earthy Palette
There’s something about deep forest greens, warm wood, and weathered stone that makes a home feel welcoming. My Rustic & Earthy color and texture board brings together those rich, nature-inspired shades with the character of aged metals, soft linen, leather, and cozy woven textures. I love how these elements work together to create rooms that feel comfortable, collected, and full of warmth—like a favorite place to settle in with a cup of coffee.
